Andrew’s Golf Benefit For Epilepsy

July 21 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

We’re excited to announce The 18th Annual Andrew’s Golf Benefit for Epilepsy will be held on July 21st at Lyman’s Orchard in Middlefield, CT. This golf benefit for epilepsy is aimed at raising funds and awareness for EFCT’s programs and services. While this will be the last year that Andrew and his family will be hosting our golf event, to which we have been incredibly grateful for.

The day starts at 8am with registration and breakfast, followed by Tee-off at 9:30. After the first round of golf, participants will enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch, between the nines, before heading back onto the green for more golf fun.

As an added bonus this year, players will have the opportunity to win a car with a hole-in-one shot! So get practicing! There will also be a contest for the longest drive and other fun competitions along the way. After completing the golf portion of the day, Litchfield Distillery will be waiting to do a whiskey tasting before dinner and awards are presented.

Help us reach our goal of $50,000 by joining us for a day of fun and raising awareness for the Epilepsy Foundation of CT.

If interested in a sponsorship, raffle donation or volunteering please reach out to Sage Mackin at sage@epilepsyct.com or 860-346-1924.

Important note from the Founders

Andrew and the Purdy family would like to announce that this year’s Andrew’s Golf Benefit for Epilepsy will be the final year. The decision was a difficult one, but in the end it is and always has been Andrew’s decision to make. He is finishing his freshman year of college and is going to be working and completing internships during the summers. Our family has always been overwhelmed by the generosity of our friends, sponsors and attendees. We can’t thank you enough for your amazing support over the years. It is truly humbling to know we have raised nearly 1 million dollars for the Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut! This money has been used to help families and individuals affected this neurological disorder by sending them to camps like Camp Courage and other programs such as Hobscotch and Project Uplift. Thank you for all your generous support over the last 18 years!

– With Gratitude,

Andrew, Sam, Amy and Brian Purdy
